Admin functions - Photo Gallery

About that "admin approval" for the photo gallery. (also my message to you on my web site)

In photo gallery admin go to "groups". There you see: needs public upload approval (1) and needs private upload approval (2). You can set this yes or no. Read notes 1 and 2 that explain at the bottom there.

Careful, the last one (needs private approval/yes/no) does not immediately show in your window ... you need to scroll the bottom scroll bar!

On my gallery, right now, for logged members the public upload is set to "yes" (needs approval) and private upload (your own gallery) is set to "no" (does not need approval). Have a look at your own groups admin to check how it is for our site.

By the way, the "disk quota" = 0 means unlimited kb for that group.

I'm in the middle of packing my things and getting ready to move...

Where you will move to ? move out from centre point? or just travel?

I like this gallery cause it can upload very big picture, better than the last one :)

You need to rename your own my gallery albums- easy to get confused if two albums have the same name. Do this when you are in admin view and click the album's properties - rename it there.

When you create a new album it will always be called "new album". You should change its name immediately in the same window on the bottom line. this way you will not get confused about many albums called "new album".

Thanks for suggestion of rename I really confuse and don't know which album I shoild put my own photo and other.

I wonder why computer at hoptel still show the red notice in the homepage, yesterday I check at shop I saw you change notice already...

It's alright to keep the secret about your place-you are not the superstar that I have to follw the news! :twisted: Did you scare me follow you? becareful**ie ie ie** :lol:

Just got anidea about the picture memory size.

I can process for you before you upload to the site - when needed. Just upload the larger size pictures to a separate album and make it visible only for the "Site Maintenance" group (you and me). Write a short comment in that album, so that I know that these photos are for processing...

I'll then save the photo on my com, make it smaller and upload it again there in that album - or another cj album. Then you save it "save picture as" and re-upload to any normal album on your site.

Pls remember your largest memory (kb) size upload is 1024 kb or about 1 MB. This is quite large. This can be changed in the "configuration".

I wonder what's going on with your photo gallery,it says four albums and one picture but i see one empty album and one album with one picture (of me) !

What happened to the rest of it? or is it simply that I cannot see it - that's ok too. But i think there's something wrong. Can you tell me what is going on with it?

PS: I did delete the cj album - it had only two photo's in it.

I delete its, since the first upload many albums so I delete and will creat one albulm and will try about rename, nothing wrong :D
